The Office
27 Main Street South, Georgetown, ON
I am located in the heart of downtown Georgetown in Halton Hills, Ontario. Although my office is located on Main Street, the entrance is not directly street-facing, and feels tucked away from the usual foot traffic. I am also less than a 10 minute walk from GDHS.
When you enter you’ll find yourself in a comfortable waiting room, where you can sit and relax. I will come out to get you when I am ready to bring you in for your session.

The Space
I have dreamed about creating my own therapy space for a long time. I have always wanted to provide my clients with a space that feels warm and comfortable. I want them to feel spoiled and taken care of. In 2025 I made this dream come true. I invested a lot of time and money, and hired experts to help me bring this to life. I consulted with Haven Wellness by Design to ensure that my space was created to optimize the positive impact of my clients' experience. I then hired local interior designer Kelli Jakab to help me bring this vision to life.

When I'm not Working with Clients
Outside of my practice, I’m often seeking out time in nature. The highlight of my year is the long backcountry canoe trip I do with my family. Life is full and busy. I’m a mom of two busy kids, and a partner to an amazing and even busier husband. I love delicious coffee, doing jigsaw puzzles, and reading fantasy books.

A THERAPUTIC SPACE TO LEARN AND GROW

ABOUT DENISE EVANS, MSW, RSW PROVIDING THERAPY FOR CLIENTS IN GEORGETOWN AND VIRTUALLY ACROSS ONTARIO
WELCOME TO
Denise Evans Therapy
Therapy, to me, is about being human. It’s a place where you don’t have to have things figured out or present a polished version of yourself. Together, we work to make sense of experiences that can feel confusing or overwhelming on your own, in a way that feels real, respectful, and deeply human.

Denise Evans, MSW, RSW
I am Denise Evans, a Registered Social Worker, and passionate Mental Health Therapist. I love what I do, and am constantly seeking out new learning so I can best support my clients. I love people. I love helping them understand that they aren’t alone, their lives make sense, and therapy doesn't have to feel scary.
I didn’t set out with a plan to become a therapist. I started off in outdoor education. I loved seeing how having fun outside brought out people's smiles, positive energy, and fostered connection. I realized I was drawn to helping people that struggled with these the most.
This led me to working at a therapeutic boarding school, where Outdoor Education was an integral part of the therapeutic process. It was there that I was inspired by the therapists who worked with the youth and families, and I decided to go back to school to get my Masters in Social Work.
For the past 16 years my passion has been ongoing learning so that I can help people find themselves.

My favourite part of therapy is when someone realizes that there is nothing wrong with them, and they see hope for change.

Working with me should feel conversational, yet deeply intentional. Sessions are a space where you can speak freely, explore your thoughts and emotions, and be guided with clarity and purpose.

Amenities
As you walk down the hall, you’ll come to a small kitchenette with a full selection of hot drinks. As a coffee lover, I’ve stocked a wide variety of coffees, along with plenty of teas and hot chocolate options. Just beside this little kitchen area, you’ll also find the bathroom for your convenience.

Accessibility
My office is ground level, making it easily accessible to all, with parking directly in front of the building.
